Terms and Conditions for Wheat City Run

Effective Date: August 16, 2025

By registering for or participating in the Wheat City Run (the “Event”), or by accessing this website, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. Event Participation

• All participants must complete the official registration and sign the required waiver before participating.

• Participants under 18 must have a parent or legal guardian register and sign on their behalf.

• You agree to follow all race rules, signage, and instructions provided by event staff and volunteers.

2. Health and Safety

• You participate in the event at your own risk. You confirm that you are physically fit and able to safely complete the distance you’ve registered for.

• Emergency medical services may be available on-site, but we are not liable for any injury or illness that occurs before, during, or after the event.

3. Refunds and Cancellations

• All registration fees are non-refundable, even in cases of injury, scheduling conflicts, or weather.

• We reserve the right to modify, postpone, or cancel the event due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., severe weather, public health concerns, etc.). In the event of cancellation, we will do our best to offer a virtual alternative or transfer options, but no refunds will be issued.

4. Photography and Media

• By participating in the event, you consent to being photographed or filmed. These images may be used by Wheat City Run for future promotional materials, including social media, websites, and marketing.

5. Personal Information

• Your information will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and will only be used for purposes related to the Wheat City Run, including race registration, communication, and results.

6. Liability Waiver

By registering, you release Wheat City Run, event organizers, sponsors, volunteers, the City of Brandon, and any affiliated parties from any liability related to injury, illness, loss, or damage as a result of your participation in the event.

7. Code of Conduct

We expect all participants and attendees to act respectfully toward others. Harassment, abuse, or inappropriate behavior of any kind will not be tolerated and may result in removal from the event without refund.
